The last couple of months have seen two more wide format inkjet SignRacer flatbed printers installed by us in the Greater Manchester area.
Ashton under Lyne based Mockridge Labels and Nameplates, has recently installed two SIGNRACER 1610 HD Gen. 5s UV printers as well as an Epson SC-S80600 solvent machine.
Established in 1966 Mockridge is one of the longest established manufacturers of product identification in the UK. Carl Ward, Mockridge Studio Manager said, “We are very happy with our decision to go with NDI and the SignRacer kit.” He continued, “We print on multiple substrates, Foamex, aluminium, wood and myriad plastics. Whilst the format in terms of size for our products is also incredibly varied, we do a serious amount of small, fine detailed imagery. In choosing new devices, our main criteria aside from high quality, ink adhesion and speed, was the ability to print very small text and design elements without excessive lay-down of ink. The Signracer flatbeds with the ability to produce a 2.5 picolitre dot, hand in hand with the Signracer Premiumflex HD UV ink has been a revelation, and that is no exaggeration. We are also amazed at how little ink the units use.”
